Rituals

A Grounding Ritual - This ritual should be used before meditation, ritual or spell workings. It provides a means of grounding your energies, allowing you to maximize the powers raised, and protecting you from 'burn-out'.

Self-Dedication Ritual - Most people enter into the Old Religion as a Solitaire. In fact, there is no rule which states that you have to be in a coven. As such, you can initiate yourself as a practitioner of the Old Religion by following this ritual.

On the Topic of the Circle

The circle is used as a means of protection during the raising of powers for magick, or during the progress of a ritual, such as the Sabbats. There are many methods of opening and closing a circle, as well as cutting a doorway or exiting during a ritual. This allows the circle to remain active, will allowing the safe exit and entrance back into the circle.
