The American Red Cross provides 24-hour emergency assistance to meet needs of service members, their families, and military retirees. We
also assist individuals and families with locating and/or obtaining other community resources.
Our services include:

Emergency Communications between service members and their families.

Emergency financial assistance to meet emergency travel, and basic maintenance needs.

Health and welfare inquiries when regular communications are interrupted.

Information and referral to other community resources when Red Cross cannot meet someone's needs.

Volunteer caseworkers help meet these diversified needs. Working with experienced
staff, they provide direct services that reach across the country and around
the world. Volunteers evaluate family needs, and verify emergency requests.
They also work with families and service members to develop a realistic plan of action. Services include:
